Publication Ethics

JEMST - Journal of Engineering Science Technology and Management is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and preventing publication malpractice.

All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers, are expected to follow ethical standards in scholarly publishing.

Duties of Authors

  • Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.
  • Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.
  • Authors must properly cite all sources used in the manuscript.
  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data, results, and statements presented in the manuscript.
  • Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript.
  • Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly without discrimination.
  • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Editors must avoid conflicts of interest in the editorial process.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts under review.
  • Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.
  • Reviewers must decline the review if there is a conflict of interest.

Plagiarism and Misconduct

JEMST Journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, or other forms of publication misconduct. Manuscripts suspected of ethical violations may be rejected or withdrawn from the publication process.
